Community Christmas Light contest - 2011 will mark the inagural year for this community wide event.  Residents of the Iowa City and Coralville communities will be decorating their houses to not only display their Christmas spirit, but also in competition with others.  Prizes will be awarded along with possible news, radio, or TV publicity!  Stay tuned for more information as this project is being finalized.

A pickup game of basketball or racquet ball, or a casual meeting at a bar for a basketball game is not uncommon. The games locations are announced usually a day in advance via our mailing list.

The Iowa City/Coralville Jaycees are also looking to have a permanent location to host future events.  This will also serve as a regular meeting place for our board and members and a place to display awards and recognition from the community.  If you know of a place for us to call home, or would like to make a Donatation/Sponsorship, please contact the local President.
