End of the Year Banquet

The Jaycees hold an End of the Year for members and guests only at the end of every year. During the banquet, members are thanked and honored for the level of their participation within the organization over the past year. Specific plaques and awards are given, along with some humorous ones. The current President of that year is responsible for planning this event and presents the awards to recipients. This is a time for Jaycees members to reflect on the year's events while enjoying high-quality food and exceptional company!

This banquet is also a time when the new President and Board are elected. The current President of that year leads the voting. After a new President is chosen, the current President of that year becomes the former President and performs his/her last duties as President for the year by swearing in the newly elected President for the upcoming year. The new President is responsible for swearing in all new Jaycees Board Members.
